A trip to the Tetons, beginning last weekend. Most of the rivers and streams were running bank full due to the higher than average snow pack. Karen and I went on an easy 9 mile hike around String and Jenny Lakes, in the area of the 1999 lightning- caused Alder Fire, a good example of fire subsequently regenerating a healthy forest. There are a couple of pictures of Jackson Lake, one with early morning fog and then a couple of hours later, after the fog lifted. Also, a Milky Way picture of Palisades Reservoir, on the Wyoming/Idaho border, with the lights of the town of Alpine, Wyoming, barely visible in the background.
